As part of the celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the city of Bocholt, the Westphalian University opened its doors to prospective students and citizens on 21 May 2022. With the support of the Otto-Spaleck-Stiftung, an exciting supporting programme was put together. The WHS presented its study programmes in exctiting lectures and hands-on activities, and professors were available to answer questions from all interested visitors.

But there was not only a lot to experience for those interested in studying. The parking spot of the Bocholt Campus was transformed into a 1,500 square meter beach area, the “Radio WMW Campusbeach”. Here you could enjoy the evening in cosy beach furniture with suitable music or relax on a pedal boat around the university. Various caterers from Bocholt took care of the physical well-being and rounded off the offer.
