In het semesterproject van dit jaar kregen 12 studenten bionica de opdracht om nieuwe, innovatieve ventilatoren te ontwikkelen die worden gekenmerkt door een verbeterde energie-effici\u00ebnte, lagere geluidsnieveaus en effectieve ijsbestrijding. In samenwerking met het bedrijf ZIEHL-ABEGG SE uit K\u00fcnzelsau, dat gespecialiseerd is in de productie van industri\u00eble ventilatoren en lifttechnologie, kregen de studenten vier maanden de tijd om hum innovatieve producten te ontwikkelen.<\/p><p>Het projectwerk was bedoeld om drie technische problemen op te lossen: Ten eerste het probleem van overloop de schoeptuiteinde van de ventilatorwaaier, veroorzaakt door drukverschillen tussen de druk- en zuigzijde van de waaier. Het tweede probleem had te maken met veiligheidstechnologie, meer bepaald met de contactbeveiliging van de ventilatoren, die een negatief effect heeft op de geluidsemissies. Tot slot werd de groepen gevraagd een passief mechanisme voor warmtepompen to ontwikkelen dat voorkomt dat de rotor vastvriest aan de draaide schijf.<\/p><p>Tijdens het slotevenement presenteerden de groepen hun resultaten aan ouders, leerkrachten, medestudenten en vertegenwoordigers van ZIEHL-AGREBB SE en ze waren zo overtuigend dat zelfs een octrooi wordt overwogen. Het meest veelbelovende product werd bekroond met de publieksprijs voor innovatieve technologie\u00ebn van de Otto Spaleck Foundation.\u00a0<\/p><p>Kortom, alle betrokkenen zijn meer dan tevreden over de voortgang van het semesterproject.
